Week 2, Day 1

I am feeling a bit Alfred Hitchcock this week, taking shots of me in obscure ways, now this may just be today, but I got giggling at this, turn off flash in corners with mirrors...
I am a point and shoot girl, so I want to get angles and different perspectives...so notice the beautiful apron, that is my Christmas present, I love pretty aprons, with pockets...
We are living in a nice rental home, but it is a rental...and the walls are humdrum white. I am gonna put a bit of cream on them in the spring. I am a girl who loves color! Walls, floors everywhere! So you see the blandness in this corner of my dining room that is supposed to be a living room, and we also have our main computer there and do school and my little cute oak desk that is actually a little cute make up table vanity, but I use for a desk, because well it's cute lives. I fill my house always with plants, it makes me think that they are taking all the bad air, and using the chloro(something long and smart sounding) stuff and changing it to clean and healthy air.
I had to leave all my plants in New Mexico when we left, so I am slowly building up my jungle...so stay tuned for some different and wildly entertaining pics of me this week....

Haha Chlorophyll is the word you are looking for. Plants use it to turn sunlight into energy and gives them their green color.

Yeah I finally did laugh about the whole aiming for the toilet from the shower thing. The funny thing is, he told me while he was in the shower he needed to pee but I told him to hold it till he got out and not go in the shower. Would have been easier just to let him...ahhh live and learn!

I love this photo!! I've yet to do one of me...maybe tomorrow. Love the apron too!! My mom brought me back one from Italy this year and I love it. Maybe you'll get to see it at some point in my photo array!!

Great shot, Anne! Love the apron, is that toulle (sp?)? Beautiful plant (unfortunately, I kill almost all mine - my husband's the green thumb int he family)! Know what you mean about white walls, I'm slowly getting rid of mine.

To answer your question from my blog. I just have a P&S camera but I upload my pics to Lightroom 2 (you can get some wonderful presets for it), I crop it and apply a preset then I bring it into PSE5 and either apply a texture of leave as it is and upload it to my blog - thanks for asking.

Have a great weekend!

Love that angle! I love aprons too, but they're hard to find these days. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos of you :-)
