Freebie Finally

Here they are, the rage!

ME BOOKS!

You can see them sorta in this picture.

It is a book about me.

It is from PillowGirls Kit. Its All Me MegaKit.

My girls and I did them together.

I did a template and then made the QP, which you can download free today!

The link is at the end of the post, but you also have a chance to win the whole kit!

The kit is HUGE! I folded them and the girls took pictures, it takes 3 small pieces of tape and lots of laughter! They so enjoyed it...when it came out of the printer! They were giggling even more!

getting the edges crisp is important...

I used a ruler and slide it across~there is no cutting, just folding and it is so easy!

This would be such a fun party favor for a girl! You can just add the picture on computer and print out and have glitter and colored pens for girls to add their own fun things!

We thought ribbon to tie it closed would be cute too!

You could make one every birthday and keep for fun memories!

The possibilities are endless!

The little book is an accordian, and two sided, but you print it out on one regular sheet of paper at your house! The girls brought them to school and everyone loved them! I had a mom wanting me to do one for her daughter, I told her to come to my blog...lol
This was a fun evening, I interview the girls seperately and then they picked out the font and I typed in text boxes for each question. What do they like, and dislike, their hopes and dreams, and then they picked out a picture to pop in the little circle.
I used the rest of the kit to add originality to each one! And you can too, I will take all the comments and write your names down and we will pull one of you out to win the kit!
I will do the drawing on Friday the 13th!
link : About Me QP

it is on BoxNet so this is my first time using it...let me know if there are any problems!

This is the kit, by PillowGirl, my friend and lady who can just make me laugh! She has just opened her own store...and I am telling you go to her blog NOW, she has free things ALL the time. Monday, she gave a coupon for $2, just go get anything from her blog. She is wild like that, she loves to give away things.
So please leave a comment, I will have the drawing on Friday the 13th,
and pick a random winner for the Its All Me kit.
A big thank you to PillowGirl for giving me kits to give away!
Keep an eye out, for other opportunities to get FREE kits from PillowGirl!

Thanks for reading!
Anne

Never lose your joy!

Just fabulous and look at your daughters! They¨re gorgeous and they look really proud over their book. Wonderful idea and I may try something like this as soon as my printer work. Thanks for the idea and what a good job on your first hybrid!

whew - that is good to know - glad it was an error, instead of violation. I had a car broken into once while traveling - I know what you mean about violation... As for the cat... I don't know how to keep them off your porch, but I do know that used coffee grounds in the garden keeps them from using it as a litter box, and the plants don't mind the caffine.

The screen shot thing is surprisingly easy... I did not mean it as a "tutorial" - but glad it actually helped. I was amking it to complex for myself... LOL - nothing new there.

Have a great weekend!

Dearest Anne,

I sent you an email today. I have been visiting and even thinking of you, am just keeping my trap shut until I get out of this "space" I am in lol.

You always make me so happy when I read your blog, even when it isn't about me lol. I am sorry that your favorite place to hang is closin'. I hate it when that happens! And times are so tough for the whole scrap community right now, so many designers, so little extra moolah for our hobbies.

I love to give things away, you help me to feel good about what it is we do here as designers and a scrap community. And to remember where we all started, too. I am so glad I have a friend across the miles in you, to help bring me into focus now and then :)

::sigh:: actual scissors and paper and rulers and things. I think I may have gotten a virtual papercut :( I'll have to get my DD to do it for me...
