We drove to Oroville tonight to hear Pastor Quinlan preach! He is doing a revival for the church there. Seeing my old pastor was a real treat! The weather was breaking up from a very heavy rain storm. I love the clouds, especially when the sun is setting and hitting them to make such beautiful colors...I took this with my arm out the window. I wasn't driving....lol

25 Feb~our 19th anniversary

We have been married 19 years today~it fell on a Wednesday, so we had bible study and I wanted to get a picture of the sign all up on the building! You can see it from the highway!

The kit is HUGE! I folded them and the girls took pictures, it takes 3 small pieces of tape and lots of laughter! They so enjoyed it...when it came out of the printer! They were giggling even more!

getting the edges crisp is important...

I used a ruler and slide it across~there is no cutting, just folding and it is so easy!

This would be such a fun party favor for a girl! You can just add the picture on computer and print out and have glitter and colored pens for girls to add their own fun things!

We thought ribbon to tie it closed would be cute too!

You could make one every birthday and keep for fun memories!

The possibilities are endless!

The little book is an accordian, and two sided, but you print it out on one regular sheet of paper at your house! The girls brought them to school and everyone loved them! I had a mom wanting me to do one for her daughter, I told her to come to my blog...lol

This was a fun evening, I interview the girls seperately and then they picked out the font and I typed in text boxes for each question. What do they like, and dislike, their hopes and dreams, and then they picked out a picture to pop in the little circle.

I used the rest of the kit to add originality to each one! And you can too, I will take all the comments and write your names down and we will pull one of you out to win the kit!

I will do the drawing on Friday the 13th!

my little digi place to kick back is closing :(

Snap & Scrap, a digital scrapbooking forum owned by Gillian has been fighting to stay open. There were some big pushes, freebie kits to get folks in and buying but it didn't work.

This bums me, because it was a fun place to go, the people always laughed at my silly jokes!

They had a BINGO game every month, and it is hilarious! It is so simple, that was one of my favorite parts, pick out 15 words from a list of 40, private message your picks back, but keep a copy.

Then Szilvia (in Brazil, I think) would call out numbers about every hour, til she went to bed...lol, then an Aussie, once Breez, then Gill and a few others sometimes would call them...so this American on the west coast would be up late late to see if I got all the words! silly, but so much fun. The bantering that went on was the best! Mel, she won it 2 times and Gill made a blinkie! I coveted that blinkie! ha ha I never won the game, or the blinkie, but what I did win, was friendships with people all over the world.

I threatened them (especially the Aussies) that I would be in Australia one day and sleep on all their couches for at least one night!

Repeat picture, but fun!

First off, it looks like we are all okay at the bank, we have to fill out some paperwork. But we are up and running smooth and lovely. Thank you to all who phoned and emailed, it was nice to have people careing!
Now I know I used the pic of me and my mumbly on an earlier layout, but I recently scanned a whole mess of pictures and came across this one from 30 years ago! I totally tripped, because, I am now older than my mom was in the picture of her and me? Did you follow that? Mom would have been 37 in the picture of her and I at the Mother~Daughter Tea. (which mom, you were were very sweet to go to this), and I am now 45! That kinda made me just ponder! Trippy huh?
Well I got this kit from Carolyn Rose Kite (isn't that the most elegant name?) it is called Rich With Love! I played with these two pictures forever, and wanted to use more yellow roses...both my mom and my favorite! I told my dear hubby and he gave me the layout idea! Then I found this song lyric, and it went with the story...so it is on it..and my mom is my hero, as I hope to be for my kids!

we were hacked!

Thankfully we caught it and our bank is working with us! but it is a horrible feeling...my computer was compromised. I am downloading just my address books and the few kits I have on my laptop. We have all the bells and whistles on our puter, but it happened!
I will be out for a bit...it is a horrible feeling! a bit violated you know?
so I'll be back at the end of the week, the bank is going to run thru a few extra security with us tomorrow...and I will sign off for now!
but I'm still smiling!

New Collab and cheese burgers!

Spring is here in northern California! The peach trees have little blossoms, cherry trees are blooming and it is raining! I love spring, because it means that summer (my favorite time) is coming and winter is gone!

Jenny and her designers over at Sunflower Scraps have come up with yet another collab, and if you buy $10 worth of products, which is too easy to do in this store, you get the collab free!

I did two layouts, and one is the much awaiting Swiss Mushroom Burger and Fries made by my dear dad on my mumbly's birthday. Makes your mouth water doesn't it? I ate the whole thing!

Here is Mr. E, five years ago. The original picture was him hanging from monkey bars at his elementary school. The two pictures are of the walnut trees around the corner from our home. The have beautiful yellow flowers growing on the ground now! We just had 2 full days of sunshine and the sky was just beautiful!
